After a very uncomfortable flight back to America we did two more TV shows and then back home. It's nice to sleep in a bed that's yours. It's nice to be able to grab a Coke out of the fridge and not pay 5 dollars for it. It's nice to see the corner bar and know that I can probably go drink for free all night and all I have to do is regale the bartender with stories of world travel. We're modern day pirates, minus all the killing and pillaging and raping.

Can't get used to be home though, next part starts in 4 days. See you lot in (not so) sunny England!

P.S. I'm working on a video compilation of stuff we saw, etc etc... Once i figure out how to work it properly you'll see it posted on here.

Yesterday was a marathon exercise in drinking beers
and sitting in the beautiful weather out in Adelaide. I even met Brian Setzer (Stray Cats/Brian Setzer Orchestra) in an elevator in our hotel! He somehow knew I was with FOB. Weird. We talked about Long Island and Spinal Tap in the span of 45 seconds. He looks exactly the same after all these years. He's like Dick Clark, he just doesn't age.

Here's a picture of a lotus we found in the botanic gardens of Adelaide, the city that lays in a bizarre half-hour-off time zone. For real... look it up.

Take it easy.... see ya out there.
*BKD
Being overseas is always an adventure. Some of us like to leave the comfort of the hotel, explore, and get ourselves entrenched in the local culture. The best way to do this is to eat the local food. Sometimes it's something as tame as chicken, but other times... well, other times it's more of an adventure. As a precursor the first installment of "The Grown Ass Man Show" starring Kadaver and Diaz here is a list of things we may or may not (we did) eat....

- raw horsemeat in Japan
- balut (fertilized hard boiled duck egg), Philippine specialty
- dry squid in a bag in Japan
- McDonald's
- unidentified meat jerky, also in a bag in Singapore
- sardine sashimi in Japan
- raw beef and raw egg
- cod guts
- lots of Pocky
- street meats in Singapore
- some really dry cardboard tasting street snack in Mexico

You get the idea. Keep an eye out for The Grown Ass Man Show coming soon to Friends or Enemies!

stay safe,
Diaz
